Wedding Guest looks and where to find them

With wedding season in full flow, I’m sure there are some of you still thinking, where oh where can I find something to wear! Finding a wedding guest outfit can sometimes be more stressful than you’d think. With so many other guests you want something a bit unique whilst also not stealing the limelight from the Bride on her special day… Of course that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look fabulous. Budget, time of year, location, duration…. The list of contributing factors is a long one. So what to choose?

When I’m searching for wedding guest outfits, both for myself and my clients, I always take a multitude of things into consideration including…

  • Venue

  • Time of year

  • Bride and Groom’s Style

I know some people think the bride and groom’s style shouldn’t matter since the clothing is yours, however I’ve been to a few weddings where the people who don’t know the Bride and Groom all that well is rather apparent, as they don’t really fit with the overall theme of the day. Some couples now send out a dress code, which I honestly love! Others don’t care as much which is of course also great as it gives more creative freedom but I believe in respecting the Bride and Grooms wishes either way.

Some send a colour code such as pinks and purples or all blue tones or even all black. Others give a dress code like garden party chic or black tie or some have even more fun with it by throwing in quirky twists like cowboy chic! It truly depends on the couple.

I’ve compiled a list of my current top 10 favourite brands for wedding guest outfits in no particular order along with a few of my favourite pieces. There is a wide range of prices for everyone’s budget.
